Through Jari Arffman's photography we are presented with the emotional HUMAN and aesthetic values of business and working life. Because they are there always. Often these are neglected because the hard values, the profits and productions margins are moreoften cherished.Kurator er kunsthistoriker Asko Mäkelä.
Jari Arffman through his lens and in collaboration with the company portrays and even celebrates every day life in the company. He transforms what often is considered ordinary and mundane into art. This kind of art work may I suggest, does more than most art collections. It reflects the work space, it reflects the people who are there. It enables employees and visitors to look at their immediate environment with news eyes, and perhaps see something that previously was hidden, it enables the spectator see NEW things. It sharpens our visual skills, it challenges our perspective.
Utstillingen kan sees 14.1. - 28.2.
